What Time New Episodes Drop
Fuji TV broadcasts Sundays at 11:15 p.m. JST, and Crunchyroll posts shortly after. What that means where you are:
| Timezone | Day & time |
|---|---|
| Pacific Time (PT) | Sunday, 7:15 a.m. |
| Mountain Time (MT) | Sunday, 8:15 a.m. |
| Central Time (CT) | Sunday, 9:15 a.m. |
| Eastern Time (ET) | Sunday, 10:15 a.m. |
| Brasília Time (BRT) | Sunday, 11:15 a.m. |
| UK Time (BST) | Sunday, 3:15 p.m. |
| Central Europe (CEST) | Sunday, 4:15 p.m. |
| India (IST) | Sunday, 7:45 p.m. |
| Philippines (PHT) | Sunday, 10:15 p.m. |
| Australia ACDT | Monday, 12:45 a.m. |
Times shown for the October–early November period, while daylight saving is in effect; add one hour to local times after DST ends. Simulcasts normally appear within the hour, but occasional delays happen — if it's late, it usually still arrives that day.
Free or Premium?
| Tier | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Free (ad-supported) | Crunchyroll's free tier covers a large part of the back catalog, including plenty of Dragon Ball. Brand-new simulcast episodes are generally not part of it |
| Paid membership | This is what simulcast episodes — a same-day release like Beerus — normally require, along with ad-free viewing and offline downloads |
Tier availability varies by region and by title, and Crunchyroll has changed its model before. Rather than trust a summary, open the Beerus episode page in your own account — it will show exactly which tier unlocks it where you live.
Sub or Dub?
Subtitles only, for now. Every Crunchyroll episode of Beerus is Japanese audio with English subtitles, and Crunchyroll typically adds subtitle options in other languages as the season runs.
No English dub has been announced — not by Crunchyroll, Toei Animation or Netflix. The English voices of Beerus (Jason Douglas) and Whis (Ian Sinclair) did appear at the NYCC 2026 premiere panel on Oct 8, which suggests a dub is in the pipeline, but there's no date. Full status on the English Dub page.
Which Should You Use?
| Crunchyroll | Netflix | |
|---|---|---|
| First episode | Oct 11, 2026 | Oct 14 (select regions), Oct 17 (US) |
| Speed | Day-and-date with Japan | 3–6 days behind, region dependent |
| Best for | Watching each episode the moment it lands | Bingeing in batches once episodes pile up |
| Extras | Most of the Dragon Ball catalog in one place | Already installed on most TVs |
If you want it as early as legally possible, Crunchyroll wins outright. If you'd rather wait a few days and watch on the app you already pay for, Netflix works too — just later.
Your Questions, Answered
Is Dragon Ball Super: Beerus on Crunchyroll?
Yes — since Oct 11, 2026, with Japanese audio and English subtitles, day-and-date with the Japanese broadcast across most regions including the US, Canada, Latin America, Europe, India, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
What time does it come out on Crunchyroll?
Shortly after the Fuji TV broadcast at 11:15 p.m. JST on Sundays — that's 7:15 a.m. Pacific, 10:15 a.m. Eastern, 3:15 p.m. UK or 4:15 p.m. Central European during the October–early November period. Occasional simulcast delays happen.
Is it free on Crunchyroll?
Usually not for new episodes. Crunchyroll has an ad-supported free tier for much of the catalog, but same-day simulcast releases generally require a paid membership. Check the episode page in your account — it varies by region.
Is the English dub on Crunchyroll?
Not yet. Only the subtitled version is streaming, and no dub date has been announced. See the English Dub page for the current status.
Why isn't it showing up in my Crunchyroll?
Licensing is regional. If you're outside the covered territories, the series may be licensed to Netflix locally or not licensed at all in your country. The full regional map is on Where to Watch.
Do I need a VPN to watch it?
You shouldn't need one in any supported region, and using one to reach another country's catalog generally breaks the terms of service. Check the regional list first — most major markets are covered directly.
Is the whole Dragon Ball catalog on Crunchyroll?
Most of it, yes — which is the main reason to pick Crunchyroll over Netflix if you're planning to rewatch earlier series alongside Beerus.
